One day, I decided I need to take more care of myself and my body, it's the only one you get after all! So I joined studio fit and started eating the right foods (most of the time!).
I joined Studio Fit just over 18 months ago. Before joining, I hadn't done regular exercise for a while because I lost my brother suddenly and I'd had brain surgery for a rare condition. I was broken, my body was broken. So exercise was sidelined and my body and my confidence suffered.
It was a huge deal joining and exercise again. I was nervous about how it would affect my headaches, but Mike and Russ were great in finding me alternative exercises if there were certain ones I wasn't allowed/couldn't do.

With all what was happening around me I wasn't sure I would be able to get into a routine that would work for me and then stick to it long enough to see some results. I soon realised this was very possible! If it means getting up before the kids are up, then so be it.

Now, just over 18 months on I go at least four (usually 5) times a week, miss the classes if I can't go and have some great friends through SF.
I especially love the post workout feeling, It's the greatest feeling to do things that at one point (when I was really poorly), I thought I would never be able to do again!
So glad I joined, would recommend to anyone. If you never try, you'll never know!
